
Both rides proceed from Moskowite Corner to Pope Valley,
Angwin, and the Silverado Trail. The 54 mile route returns to
Moskowite Corner via Highway 128 (Sage Canyon Road). The 112 mile
option continues to Calistoga, Mark West Springs, Santa Rosa, Glen Ellen,
and Napa.
The 112 mile route passes through the Chiles, Pope,
Napa, Franz, Bennett, Sonoma, and Wooden Valleys.

Vineyards of the Napa and surrounding valleys: you will never be far from a vineyard on this ride.
I recommend bringing a windbreaker, as
micro-climates in these multiple valleys often vary
considerably, and temperatures frequently are cool.
Moskowite Corner.
From Sacramento take I-80 west to Highway 113 exit near Davis; take Highway 113 north to Covell Blvd. exit; take Covell Blvd (E6) west to Winters; take Highway 128 from Winters west to Moskowite Corner (just north of intersection of Highways 121 and 128).
Approximately 50 miles from Sacramento.
Climbing: 3,285 feet.
Difficulty: moderate. There is a (not terribly difficult) climb up Ink Grade and a climb along Sage Canyon Road.
Maximum elevation: 1,700 feet.
Climbing: 9,020 feet.
Difficulty: moderate to marked. Climbs include Ink Grade, Trinity Road, Mt Veeder Road, and Highway 121.
