Leaving Moskowite Corner you will find gently rolling terrain on Highway 128 (photo left).
CAUTION: watch for boat trailers (!); some are almost as wide as the lane.
Turn right onto Lower Chiles Valley Road. I enjoy this road: quiet, wooded, vineyards, easy climbing.
This leads to lovely Chiles and Pope Valley Road (photo right) and eventually to Pope Valley and Rest Stop #1.
The store is closed on Saturday (as is the Seventh Day Adventist community of Angwin), so bring sufficient food and fluids to be self-contained.

Continue north on Pope Valley Road to Ink Grade (photo left). I find Ink Grade a fun climb: wooded, not too steep, a very quiet road.
At the top you will take Howell Mountain Road through Angwin and then will enjoy a fast descent down Deer Park Road (photo right) to Napa Valley's Silverado Trail.
54 mile riders turn left on the Silverado Trail and bike down to Highway 128 (Sage Canyon Road). If you need food, consider a short side trip on Pope Street to St Helena and stores/restaurants.
Highway 128 will take you by Lake Hennessey on your return to Moskowite Corner.
112 mile riders turn right on the Silverado Trail (photo below). Enjoy views of the famous wine country as you bike to Calistoga and Rest Stop #2.

Leave Calistoga on Highway 128 and turn left onto Petrified Forest Road.
Franz Valley School Road (photo left) and Franz Valley Roads (photo right) are favorites of mine: densely wooded, quiet, up and down.
Do take care (!) to control your speed on Franz Valley Road's curvy descents.
On your right, at the junction of Franz Valley and Porter Creek Roads, is Safari West, a private zoo.
A gradual descent on Mark West Springs Road takes you to a left turn onto Riebli Road. Bike south into Santa Rosa.
Take care at the left turns onto Farmers Lane and onto Montgomery Street: the roads are multi-lane, and traffic is heavy. On Yulupa Avenue find Rest Stop #3.
You will be on the course of the Terrible Two Double Century as you proceed south on Bennett Valley Road (photo left), visit Glen Ellen, and climb Trinity Grade.
The Trinity Road climb can be hot in the afternoon; keep well hydrated!
When you get to the firehouse you are almost at the top.
The descent down Trinity Road is fast and is curvy: control your speed (bicyclists have been injured here).
Turn right on Mt Veder Road, and get back in your low gears for the initial sections; after a moderate climb, you will enjoy a gentle descent all the way into Napa.
I enjoy Mt Veder and Redwood Roads (photo right): lovely, tree lined, relatively quiet.
I hate Napa's congested Trancas Street (fortunately it is short). Take care: traffic is heavy, and there is much uncontrolled cross traffic into commercial businesses.
At the east end of Napa find Rest Stop #4. Take time to eat and rehydrate: the climbing is not yet over!
Highway 121 (photo above) will convey you back to Moskowite Corner. You will encounter two climbs: an initial moderate climb followed by a descent past Wooden Valley, and a second lesser climb up to Moskowite Corner and ride's end.
